SELECTED:Trackday action @ Gatebil Rudskogen by JAMedia.nu!

After taking a day off to heal the wounds after a night out, we bring you Ronnys  (http://www.facebook.com/JAMedia.nu) pictures from Gatebil Rudskogen. This is the final part although the sneaky guy did deliver one more which we will publish in the future as a ”bonus”. 😉

This part is all about action from the track and we really think there is no point to explain what we already know about what type of driving is done at the Gatebil events = reckless and with no mercy to the cars at all!

(The Alm brothers are well known ”Gatebil heroes” and bring something quite unique to the world of powerdrifting since they do it with permanent 4WD instead of the usual. And yes, like you can figure it out it means twice as much smoke as well- and at the same time twice as entertaining to watch!)

(And here is a typical view on how it can look at a busy moment in a turn at Rudskogen track. The anarchy that happens when you put so many extreme cars out at the same time is a sight to behold, but somehow there is a sense of awereness from everyone which makes it less chaotic then it should.)

(Kai Roger Bakken is also a big name with his Audi S1 replica that totally mad races in the ”Extreme series” and rarely finishes outside the Top 3. His healthy rivalery with TS-Racing and their Audi A3 is something to always look closer at, these guys never dissapoint when it comes to giving 100% to even but a 0,001 of a second = fearless and sickly entertaining!)

(Its quite possible the biggest draw to these events is that you get a enormously twised variety of cars being ran. Here we got a newrer generation BMW M3 which is treated just like any ”hacky” JDM-driftcar. Respect!)

(…and did we need to remind you about that twisted variety of cars running at Gatebil again?)

 

(This is how we started this gallery, and a suitable ending would be Kenneth Alm showing what I meant with that they truly make powerdrifing twice as entertaining with their 4WD madness. Hearing rumors about the S2 from them being for sale, so if you want to be a Gatebil Hero without spending endless amounts of time building the right car… ask at their FACEBOOK about it?)

TRAILER: ”The Gatebil experience” by Neffi Photography of Denmark!

Since we are right in the middle of posting SELECTED GALLERIES from Gatebil Rudskogen, the timing for a new movie made by our friend NEFFI PHOTOGRAPHY called ”The Gatebil experience” just couldn’t be better.

 

This Danish dude was actually doing the first Gatebil Rudskogen event this season on our account as a spontaneous thing, and with his just recent trip there added- he is now all set to give it his first go making a production out of it.

 

 

He just released this smooth trailer of his coming video, and it has some really good footage (among my favourites, when Fredric Aasbo blows his tire, above):

Looking at his previous work, which has a lot of Scandinavian Drift Series in his portfolio, I think we can expect a really solid movie- and we are loving how more and more really talented photographers and filmmakers are putting the spotlight on the scene we got here in Scandinavia:

Since he has already achieved his goal of ”1000 likes” on HIS FACEBOOK PAGE I think we can do our best to reach 2000  of them in a hurry, dont you think? 😉

 

We’ll be sure to post his finished movie as soon as its completed as well, but hope you will just like us make him feel welcome to the online Superior-family of partners as our #1 guy in Denmark.

Switching it up! We got a INSANE amount of Gatebil Rudskogen pics coming!

In all the madness and almost forced blogging of FRANKFURT IAA 2011 we may suddenly look like a whole different blog, but don’t worry because Ronny @ JAMedia.nu was at Gatebil Rudskogen a few weeks ago and we got a mad amount of pics to blog about!

This was the Gatebil events season finale, and not as big as the ”main event” in the middle of the summer, but still plenty of action from this event. Best of all is that it gives a nice coooold beer sort of feeling after drinking posh wine with the Frankfurt material!

So what you can expect is a lot of the different Power drifting and all the semi-pro teams we are used to seeing there (DriftMonkey, Team Yellow and the Alm Bros) and also a touch of always surprising and crazy builds that always show up there.

SUPERIOR SELECTED: JAMedia.nu med 100% däcks-rök @ Gatebil Mantorp!

Nu lovar jag ett galleri som många olyckliga som missat GATEBIL MANTORP 2011 kommer älska (och hata sig själva ännu mer för att ha missat detta kaoz-event). För det är nämligen dags att släppa loss ett blytungt galleri med en j*kla massa däcks-rök från banan av Ronny @ JAMedia.nu!

 

 

Om det finns något man verkligen kan sätta garanti för på att Gatebil-event så är det just att folk slaktar däck efter däck efter däck…

 

110618_093324_000Det blir nästan komiskt när man ser hur (framförallt norrmännen) bildar mindre berg av slitna däck ju längre helgen fortskrider.

 

Man skulle kunna tro att de mest hardcore gatebil-åkare utvecklat någon tvångstanke mot att köra på hela/fräscha däck?! 😀

 

Väl valda ord om Ronny som är Mr. JAMEDIA.NU behövs för sjutton inte, ni ser väl klart och tydligt att killen är född med en känsla som få fotografer kan matcha?

 

Det är ett sant nöje att se hur många av hans bilder som ”klarar ribban” man satt upp för SUPERIOR SELECTED, enda som blir jobbigt är att publicera allt godis = det kommer minst tre gallerier till av honom! Woohoo (nu kör vi)!

(PS. Vi ver om ursäkt för de icke-vackra radbrytningar som är i detta inlägg. Problem med våran kontrollpanel för att behandla inläggen…)

 

 

(Äntligen får jag chansen att skriva om ett av mina egna absoluta favorit-team på plats: Team Yellow! Förra året la jag märke till en fläckfri och alldeles underbar Toyota Mark II som stod i deras stall, och i år hade de en Supra med sig med ohyggligt mycket lull-lull som de rentutsagt körde skiten ur! Var riktigt synd att de pajade diffen, annars hade de gjort en vass trio i vårat ”Gatebil is all in” filmprojekt med bl.a. nedan två Supror…)

 

 

(Vad vore ett rök-galleri utan någon bild på Team Driftmonkey?! Tro mig att detta gäng verkligen ”levererar” när det gäller att bjuda på underhållning, och denna Supra var deras tungviktare på plats bland flera andra riktigt potenta och välkörda driftingbyggen med den tokiga apan på. PS. Klart som F*N att denna Supra kom med i våran film…!)

 
 
(Eeeen till Supra av norskt ursprung, och förmodligen stjärnan i kommande ”Gatebil is all in” filmen vi fick låna banan 30min för oss själva med. Jag kan bara pinsamt erkänna att jag som en berusad fjortis förmodligen sade ”j*vlar vad grym körning” till föraren efter den sessionen; top notch bland många grymma powerdriftare…)
 
 
  
 
 
 
(Vi kör en liten survey… Vem kunde anat att en gammal och sanslöst sunkig E-klass kombi med automatlåda skulle bli en av helgens absoluta snackisar? Diesel dessutom?! Nej, finnarna är verkligen inte friska i skallen när de bygger på bilar som dessa; och dessutom mosar runt banan hårdare och närmare barriären än någon annan- and we love ’em for it!)    
 
 
 
  
 
 
 
(Denna gröna sköna 240 var en av bilarna från Sverige som kunde hålla uppe tempot med norrmännen i rökfylld körning med sköna ställ. Vi mindes honom från förra årets ACTION MEET 2010 där han fastnade på en del klipp, och hade det inte varit för oturlig timing så hade han fått en plats i kommande rullen med. Men säkerligen fastnade ett av hans dussintals grymma körpass ändå; vi gillar!)
 
(…och när vi ändå är inne på området svenskar som iaf ”hängde med” norrmännen i brutal körning, så tycker jag ”Limmet” med sin V8 ekiperade E30 lätt tar en plats! Funny story är, att han förmodligen som ende person i världshistorien lyckades backa på en annan bil mitt under pågående filmtagning med temat ”all in”. Hur lyckas man med det?! Underhållande som få var han iaf, och mycket trevligt team överhuvudtaget från Götet…)

 

(Nu ramlar jag snart ur kontorsstolen, men hur sjutton kan det hamna en till gammal sleten kombi i ett galleri om träffens allra mest rökfyllda?! Det kanske blir mindre lustigt när man vet att våran vän Peter Björck är ägaren, och att han kastat i en 2JZ-GTE med singelturbo under huven på den gamla ”Sosse-vagnen”. Vi vill passa på och tacka Peter och hans crew för mycket trevligt sällskap i Camp: Superior hela helgen. Otroligt ödmjuka och snälla killar!)

 

Räcker detta inte som en resumé över ett axplock av alla bilar som hela dagarna inte gjorde annat än försökte ha ihjäl sina bilar så vet jag inte vad du din stackare går igång på! Faktum är att egentligen varje bil i detta galleri skulle förtjäna sin egna story, men jag vill ju inte tråka ut er med mitt bloggande… 😉

  

 

Så det återstår alltså minst tre gallerier till från Mr. JAMedia säger jag? Alldeles korrekt, och jag lovar att det förutom hans magiska blick och skills i PS även är annat på väg från resten av SUPERIOR SELECTED fotograferna som också kommer gillas. Good times ahead, känns som man säger det väldigt ofta nuförtiden. Skönt! 

  

 Sätter punkt där och försöker få lite gjort här på kontoret som är smockat med ärenden idag, men lovar er minst ett till galleri från GATEBIL MANTORP 2011 där!
